September 14th

1:30pm-3:30pm cleanup, 3:30pm-5:30pm after-party

OUT for Sustainability invites you to join people around the world for coastal cleanup day. In our home state of Washington we’re working on the coastline of Ocean Shores to reduce the impact of humanity on the natural environment. We’re also excited to bring greater visibility to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) community’s committment to the environment. Come with your friends and make new ones as we have fun making a positive environmental impact and celebrate our success.

What to bring

OUT4S will provide all the gear to collect litter safely. Bring comfortable shoes and clothing for walking that day, sunscreen, water, snacks, and medicine required (bee sting kit, etc.).

Stay Overnight!

Make it a weekend adventure and stay the night! The Sands Hotel at 1-800-841-4001 is offering a discount when you’re with our group to cleanup the beach. Also, some with OUT4S are staying nearby in Seabrook and still others are camping.

To celebrate the accomplishments of the day, light food will be provided through a generous donation from La Chica Taqueria just up the road near the beach at 185 W chance A La Mer NW Ocean Shores 98569.
