Fab Planet Summit Speaker Loren Othon
Loren Othon is a writer, musician, and artist who also works as a policy analyst for the Seattle Office for Civil Rights. In her civil rights work, Loren leads the Gender Justice Project, an initiative aimed at eliminating gender-based inequities in the City of Seattle. As an artist, Loren uses music, movement and photography to explore queer definitions of ‘home’ and our connections to space and its embodied meaning. A graduate of the Erasmus Mundus, Masters of Environmental Science and Policy, and raised in the rainforests of Panama, Loren carries with her a deep understanding of the complex relationships between urban spaces, sustainability, identity and lived experience.
