Join OUT for Sustainability for the fourth annual Earth Gay Tacoma! Celebrating the spirit of Earth Day, the gay way, this year’s service project at the Gog le hi te Wetlands will help restore this vital habitat. We work to remove accumulated trash from the wetlands/marsh area (which means rubber boots would be a good idea). We will also work in the riparian buffer to remove invasive species such as blackberry, scotchbroom and others. Long pants and sturdy footwear are a must. Hats are also a good idea and bring a water bottle. OUT4S will supply gloves, tools, drinks and snacks.
