Our Founder and Board President Gerod Rody was the keynote speaker at the Region 9 Environmental Protection Agency annual Pride Awareness Lunch in San Fransisco, CA! Gerod spoke to the 150 attendees, including noted ally and environmentalist Jared Blumenfeld, on OUT4S’s history, programs, impact and especially on our theory of sustainability where identity, society and environment are each vital parts of the puzzle. We’re excited by, and still exploring, the connection between the environmental movement with the LGBTQ community. But as Gerod heard the out and proud individuals at the EPA discuss their work and their passion, it’s clear we’re on to something.

Gerod also spoke to the Region 10 EPA LGBT group in Seattle, WA for their Pride lunch, discussing similar themes with about 30 attendees.
