OUT4S board members, @Shehreen Johnson and @Danny Luong were uber cute at an important event discussing the integration of LGBTQ rights as part of our nation’s history by calling for the dedication of the first ever National Park to be devoted to Stonewall.

National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA.org) and other partners are working together to establish the nation’s first LGBTQ unit of the National Park System around Stonewall Inn in New York City. National parks were established to preserve scenic and iconic places and make them accessible for all to enjoy. Parks commemorate and tell stories unique to our American experience. Like the Women’s Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls, NY and the Selma to Montgomery National Historical Trail recognizing the civil rights movement, the 1969 Stonewall Uprising unit of the NPS would recognize and commemorate the struggle for LGBTQ rights. OUT for Sustainability is excited to support this initiative. Please sign the petition and spread the word.#NatlParkForStonewall https://www.npca.org/advocacy/5-a-national-park-for-stonewall
